M.A.C. Hello Kitty Haul!

Finally…the new mac collection „Hello Kitty” reached little Austria and even though I’m not a huge fan of hello kitty, I just had to go and check it out. Right on the first day, in my break before gym class I ran to the store, already cherishing their lipstick “Cute-ster”. But what a surprise, it wasn’t even 12 a clock and the lipstick was alread sold out. But sadly that didn’t mean less damage for my pocketmoney…I ended up leaving the store with a big smile, a mac bag and a tasty hello kitty cookie (which was rather hard and dusty than delicious, but nothing that my shopping euphoria can’t blow away).



So here’s a list of the things I got:

Tahitian Sand (Beauty Powder) – oh oh oh…isn’t that a delightful little all-round helper. I would definitely recommand it for make up beginners, because when using it as a blush you will never end up looking like a dragqueen. It’s just so sheer and natural, that you even think that you have nothing on. Furthermore you can use it as an all-over powder, to give your face a fresh glow. The powder is also availabe in a more rosy tone “Pretty baby” (soft sunny pink with gold), which works great for the winter. But since I’m striving for summer, I decided to buy the tahitian sand, which is a soft coral peachy tone.



My next buy was the “Nice Kitty” Lipglass from the Hello Kitty Wild collection. It’s a great colour, which looks suprisingly natural when applied compared to the colour it has on the tube, which is quite neon. It’s a sheer neon pink with blue pearl…and I love it so much, even though I normally prefer lipsticks. But this one is just one of the cutest lipglasses mac ever made…they should definitely make it a permanent.



So my last buy was the 183 brush. I’ve been wanting this brush in ages…they even had a hello kitty brush set, which contains 183’s bigger brother, a blush brush and a brush for the eyes (187SE, 109SE, 239SE). But because that was a little bit too expensive for me I just bought the 183 and I absolutely LOVE IT! It’s great for applying powder or blush, blending concealer or applying make-up.



Well that was all I got from mac. I’m surely looking forward to their Hello Kitty Kouture Collection. Anyway I would definetely check it out (http://www.maccosmetics.com/) and maybe, maybe I might just buy Pretty baby, Cute-ster and one of their other lipglasses ….
